Restoration of Rights
Former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe signed an executive order on April 22, 2016, restoring the rights of 206,000 ex-felons in Virginia who have completed their terms of incarceration and supervised release, encompassing all felony convictions. This executive order enables individuals to vote, become a public notary, serve on a jury, and run for public office. Moving forward, Virginia governors are mandated to issue monthly orders restoring rights to individuals who have fulfilled their terms of incarceration and supervised release. Contact BTGVA to initiate the process and restore your rights.

At Bridging The Gap In Virginia (BTGVA), we are dedicated to promoting personal growth and providing community-wide services through our environmental initiatives. We integrate restorative justice principles with positive environmental impacts, exemplified by our Solar Installation Training Program. We aim to expand our mission and outreach to other communities in need of advocacy and support.
